１９７０年７月１７日出生的曼蒂史密斯（Mandy Smith）是英國前流行歌手和模特兒，原名阿曼達·路易斯·史密斯（Amanda Louise Smith）

１９８０年代中期，未成年的曼蒂因與大她３３歲的滾石樂隊貝斯手 Bill Wyman戀愛並隨後結婚而出名。

１９８４年，當她與姐姐 Nicola一起參加 BPI 頒獎典禮時，遇到Bill Wyman，當時她１３歲半，懷曼４６歲半，他１９９０年的自傳中寫道：“她讓我驚嘆不已……她十三歲時就已經是個女人了。”

兩年半後，當曼蒂年滿１６歲（英國的法定同意年齡）時，這段關係才被公開，引發一場輿論風暴。

兩人在１９８９年結婚．但僅數星期，曼蒂就搬出去住．

１９８７年１月，１６歲半的史密斯推出首支單曲［I Just Cant Wait／我等不及了］

由Stock、Aitken、Waterman譜寫，並製作成一首合成流行／舞曲流行曲．

節奏中板，曼蒂的嗓音細緻，雖稍嫌薄弱．

 

儘管史密斯與Bill Wyman的關係引起強烈的關注，

［I Just Cant Wait］在她故鄉英國並不受歡迎，只拿到單曲榜＃９１，製作人將其歸咎於英國媒體的敵意。

但在歐洲和日本卻受歡迎：挪威＃９　德國＃１４　瑞士＃１６，義大利＃１９　

紐西蘭＃３７，澳大利亞＃９１

由於單曲在歐陸與日本的成功，讓曼蒂得以灌錄首張專輯．

１９８８年４月，史密斯推出首張大碟［Mandy］，收錄之前發行的三首單曲，
