大碟翻唱眾多百老匯經典　包括當年７月將在倫敦上映　由劇場名人安德魯洛伊韋伯製作譜寫的音樂劇〔Sunset Boulevard／日落大道〕中的兩首歌曲〔As If We Never Say Goodbye〕＆〔With One Look〕

韋伯藉著史翠珊版在音樂劇尚未上映前　將兩首抒情曲介紹給大眾

 

〔Sunset Boulevard／日落大道〕　改編自１９５０年好萊塢同名戲劇電影經典（中譯〔紅樓金粉〕）

由大導演比利懷德執導　由２０／３０年代超級巨星葛蘿麗亞史璜生主演

描述一名進入有聲片年代後事業下滑的中年默片明星諾瑪．奧絲蒙

積極想要東山再起　最後她的編劇小白臉喬戳破她的美夢

諾瑪槍斃喬　自己也發了瘋

（有趣的是　蘿麗亞史璜生真的是默片巨星　但她倒是順利跨進有聲片年代）

此曲由安德魯洛伊韋伯,Don Black ,Christopher Hampton共同譜寫

描述諾瑪．奧絲蒙回到派拉蒙片廠　與 恩師大導演──西席迪米爾（Cecil B. DeMille）重逢，告訴他兩人彷彿沒分別一樣

史翠珊,韋伯與Nigel Wright三人製作

這是一首戲劇化的show tune

在優美的弦樂聲中　芭芭拉循序漸進　以細膩的演繹將諾瑪．奧絲蒙重回片廠　期望東山再起的心思詮釋得絲絲入扣

十分有戲劇性

〔As If We Never Say Goodbye〕拿到加拿大成人抒情榜＃３０

此曲後來被英美數位女演員／歌手演繹過, 包括葛倫克蘿絲（Glenn Paige）　伊蓮佩吉（Elaine Paige）等
