Selected poems：蘭波 (Arthur Rimbaud) 的〈永恆〉(LÉternité)
〈永恆〉這首詩收藏在名為〈耐心之節日〉(Fêtes de la Patience) 的組詩之中，並不在蘭波最有名的兩本詩集《地獄一季》及《靈光集》(又譯《彩畫集》)。
何家煒新譯的《靈光集》則將〈耐心之節日〉納入《最後的詩行》這個章節。
在〈譯者序〉，何家煒提到：
……《最後的詩行》(Derniers Vers) 收錄了蘭波在 “通靈時期” 創作的十六首詩，多年前曾貼在 “詩生活” 網站的翻譯論壇，現增補注釋後，附在《靈光集》之後。“最後的詩行” 這個集名並不可靠，有的作品集亦作 “新詩與歌”(Vers Nouveaux et Chansons)，也有研究者指出，蘭波曾夢想創作一本叫 “虛無研究”(Études Néante) 的詩集。因詩人之後轉向寫作散文詩和無韻的 “自由詩”，故譯者以 “最後的詩行” 代指這些相對於 “早期詩作” 而言新進創作的韻詩。

與太陽同行。
靈魂的哨兵，
低聲吐實情
黑夜多虛無
白晝如烈火。
眾人的讚譽，
普遍的激憤
你從此捨棄
超脫於凡塵。
只有從你自身，
錦緞般的火炭，
才會散發大業，
都無須說：終於。
本沒有希望，
也沒有新生。
科學與耐心，
苦刑當確定。

Là tu te dégages

Braises de satin,
Le Devoir sexhale
Sans quon dise : enfin.
Là pas despérance,
Nul orietur.
Science avec patience,
Le supplice est sûr.
Elle est retrouvée.

Here is no hope,
No orietur.
Knowledge and fortitude,
Torture is certain.
