在銷售失望的藍調專輯［True Love／真愛］（1991）後，

１９９３年５月，４０歲的美國搖滾巨星佩特．班納塔（Pat Benatar）發行第十張大碟［Gravity’s Rainbow／地心引力的彩虹］（Chrysalis唱片發行）

重回讓其成名的流行搖滾／Arena Rock樂風．

大碟由其夫婿Neil Geraldo與Don Gehman製作．

雖然評價不錯, 但彼時歌壇變化頗大, grunge另類搖滾已躍升主流

導致［Gravity’s Rainbow］銷售不佳　只升到美國專輯榜＃８５　至今賣出１６萬張．

加拿大＃４４，澳洲＃１３０．

此後佩特的音樂聲勢便走上持續下滑的不歸路．

 

１９９３年８月底，佩特推出第二主打是［Somebodys Baby／某人的寶貝］

由班納塔與Neil Geraldo譜寫　

Neil Geraldo與Don Gehman製作一首流行搖滾．

編曲簡潔，旋律動聽，速度中板，佩特以相對節制的溫和唱腔演繹．

雖然歌曲動聽　但卻引不起大眾的興趣

［Somebodys Baby］未入Billboard單曲榜．

拿到英國榜＃４８──至今佩特最後進此榜歌曲．

加拿大榜＃４１，紐西蘭＃３６，澳洲＃９０．
