電影由Christopher Reeve＋Jane Seymour主演

劇情描述一名１９７０年代劇作家回溯時光七十年，與一名女演員相戀．

雖然美國影評跟票房皆不理想，不過仍提名第38屆金球獎最佳原創音樂（約翰貝瑞／John Barry）

次年春天，美國有線電視播出了這部電影，吸引大批粉絲，讓觀眾對音樂產生極大興趣，
