作事與作官

 

有人說：

人要作大事，不要作大官。

有人說：

既要作大事，就要作大官。

 

有人想：

衆委重責大任予我肩，

必需立德立功以報還。

 

有人見：

功德未成命先完，

人去政息名遭貶。

 

有人曾：

志業未竟任期滿，

錐心痛苦刻骨憾。

 

有人說：

新中國修法擁新King。

習近平要作毛澤東。

 

我見他：極致力，

道德重整民族興，

帶路建設國際榮。

 

這多是聖賢的思維，

不多見帝王的經營。

 

我知他：曾見識，

胡搞亂破苦淒窮。

惡閗殘殺恨悲痛。

 

他怎會，

亦私亦迷建此功。

又怎敢，

作神作孽留己名。

 

說不定，

任期未屆功已成。

他或會，

提早讓位隱山中。

 

誰願意，

宵旰勞神復勞形。

而不去，

含飴弄孫樂清淨。

 

世事多變化。

何人能預訂?

Doing Thing and Being King

 

Some people say:
A man must do big thing,

do not be a big king.

Some people say:
If you want to do big thing,

you must be a big king.

Someone think:

If people put on him

a major duty and prime mandate,

he must repay them

with top morality and highest merit.

Some people see:
Someone has not finished his work,

but his life finished first.

So his work is blamed,

his name is defamed with dirt.

 

Some people see:
Someone has not finished his work,

but his term expired first.

So he is bone-crushingly sorry

and heart-brokenly hurt.

Some people say:
New China will revise his constitution

to support a new king.
Xi Jinping wants to be a Mao Zedong.

I see he is endeavoring
for moral revival and national reconstruction,
and leading the way of building

peace and prosperity for the whole human beings.

This is mostly a sage’s thinking,
not much of the intention to be a king.


I know he has once seen:

reckless reform and destruction, 

merciless slaughter and persecution.

 

All people have lived in:

sorry and sorrow, poverty and pain,  

terror and anger, hatred and disdain.

How can he
be so foolish and selfish,

to build such a merit and fame?

How dares he
makes god, commits crime,

to leave such a legacy and name?

 

Maybe, his term is not expired

his merit is successfully done.
He might retire even earlier

hermit in his West Mountain den.

Who wants to toil

twenty-four and seven
instead of enjoying at home with

sweet comfort and smiling grandson.

People is changing.

The world is changing.
Who can predict or predetermine, 

a possible or probable future thing?
