１９６７年１１月生於倫敦的蘿倫克莉絲蒂（Lauren Christy）是英國歌手，亦是集作曲、作詞、音樂製作，現時為音樂創作團隊The Matrix的成員。

１９９３年推出首張同名大碟．

１９９４年，美國影壇巨星布魯斯威利（Bruce Willis）主演情色驚慄電影［Color of Night／夜色］（大陸譯《色夜》）（Buena Vista Pictures Distribution (北美)／Cinergi Productions (國際)發行），

票房不佳，影評悽慘，成為當年金酸苺獎的‘最差電影’．

不過蘿倫克莉絲蒂受邀演唱的主題曲［The Color of the Night］卻獲得好評，

由Dominic Frontiere，Jud Friedman，蘿倫克莉絲蒂合寫，

Jud Friedman製作成一首成人流行抒情曲，

在緩慢的鋼琴與弦樂聲中，蘿倫以輕吟的方式細膩詮釋想見到愛人的渴望．

［The Color of the Night］被金球獎中最佳電影原創歌曲。（不過也被提名金酸苺獎最差主題曲）

１９９９年，蘿倫克莉絲蒂退到幕後，為不少電影與歌手創作出許多佳作．
