１９７５年１０月初　３３歲半的美國演藝天后芭芭拉．史翠珊（Barbra Streisand）發行〔Lazy Afternoon／慵懶午後〕大碟

（距離３月中旬出版的［Funny Lady］電影原聲帶只有半年時間）

由於上張由男友Joe Peters製作的［Butterfly］專輯樂評不佳,加上芭芭拉不喜歡

因而這回換Jeffrey Lesser, Rupert Holmes掌舵

果然〔Lazy Afternoon〕推出後獲得不錯評價

商業表現也不錯：登上美國專輯榜＃１２　拿到金唱片（５０萬張＋）

 

首支主打為８月發行的［My Father’s Song／吾父之歌］

此曲由Rupert Holmes譜寫, 描述芭芭拉跟她父親的關係

他跟Jeffrey Lesser,共同製作成一首軟式搖滾抒情曲

在慵懶的節奏間, 史翠珊娓娓描述希望得到父親的認同  相當感性

只是跟上張大碟［ButterFly］, 電影原聲帶［Funny Lady］的主打一樣

［My Father’s Song］也沒打入美國Billboard單曲榜　只在副榜──Easy Listening榜拿到＃１１

雖然在芭芭拉的諸多歌曲中不甚著名, 但卻是跟父母題材相關的作品之一
