數間茅屋閒臨水， By the water, leisurely several huts stand,
窄衫短帽垂楊里。in light gown and short hat, I stroll alone
花是去年紅， Last year the flowers were red
吹開一夜風。They will be the same pending the east wind.
梢梢新月偃，午醉醒來晚。Above the treetops, the crescent moon hangs.
何物最關情，黃鸝三兩聲。Who is most sentimental? The intermittent chirps from orioles.
