海燕歲微渺，Though a swallow is tiny,

乘春亦暫來。returning to north during springtime.

豈知泥滓賤， Not knowing sludge is low.

只見玉堂開。 So long as doors opened,

繡戶時雙入， it enters with its partners,

華堂日幾回。 building their nest with mud. 

無心與物競，It competes against no rivals.

鷹隼莫相猜。 Birds of prey dont suspect.
