彌月不出門， Not going out a month.

永日無來賓。No guests whole day long.

食飽更拂床， Making bed again after meal.

睡覺一顰伸。Stretching myself not during sleep.

輕箑白鳥羽， Light feathers cover the fan

新簟青箭筠。Green bamboos cover the mat

方寸方丈室， Though my room is small

空然兩無塵。it is empty and dustless 

披衣腰不帶， Throw on clothes without belting

散發頭不巾。Shaggy hair without a ribbon

袒跣北窗下， Bare feet standing beneath windows

葛天之遺民。A descendant of my ancestors

一日亦自足， Just one day is enough

況得以終身。let alone my whole life. 

不知天壤內， Wondering the universe will see

目我為何人。  What a creature I am.
