Mr. Huang Xuhua, the father of China's nuclear submarine, is at 93 but still hale and hearty, capable of doing some work.  What is he doing now?  Besides his speciality, he often educates young generations to bolster their patriotism on TV.  Following is a video of his lecture at:

You may think it is an inhuman sacrifice that he had been tied up to his danwei(單位) and isolated from outside(including his families) for thirty years.  But what else China could do then under such an adverse circumstance: dire poverty and being without help from technically-advanced countries?  All she could do was concentrating her limited sources and tightening her belt.  I do admire her courage and endurance, I really do.

We people in Taiwan got to place ourselves in Mainland's position of those days.
