很無恥的把歌詞鈔到上面, 記得是80年代吧, 當時還是雙榜冠軍歌曲, 由於排行冠軍, 電台點播率就比較高, John Waite是Babe合唱團的前主唱, 不過我之前沒聽過, 到現在也只知道Missing You這首.
最重要的是, 這首歌一直陪伴著我, 是自己的心情點播曲, 每當歌曲在心中播放時, 就會讓自己的心情回到從前, 好像是在為自己描述當時的情景, 完完全全是為自己量身打造的一首歌.
幾米有『向左走 向右走』的故事, 安達充在他的短篇漫畫裡, 也有類似的情節. 前者是不認識的人, 後者是相識的人, 因環境與作息迴異而沒能相見, 或者多少有意為之, 但故事是不會這麼輕易就結束了.
喜歡一個人是單方面的, 你不會先徵求對方的同意後才開始喜歡, 最可惱的是, 就算你喜歡對方, 你也不敢敎對方知道, 但是對方的一言一行, 你都會盡可能的收集探索, 利用眼睛的餘光, 或是隨風而來的隻字片語, 無他, 就是不能放棄任何蛛絲馬跡, 因為這都能是暫時的慰藉.
有些聚會你會自動參加, 一些場所也會去光顧, 只因都有可能不期而遇, 至於是不是敢直視對方, 或大膽的鼓起勇氣打招呼, 那是後續的問題, 但可以想像的是, 不是閃躲就是當作沒看見, 矛盾嗎? 真是充滿著矛盾, 心中有千言萬語, 到頭來腦袋一片空白, 逃避則成為一的選項. 這還是好的, 根據默菲定律, 想見的見不到, 不想見的還是見不到.
朋友是拿來相互陷害的, 有些人是這麼說. 很多你想要的消息, 都是他們傳遞給你的, 而且他們非常的熱情, 你幾乎可以獲悉你想要知道的一切, 不過都是事後. 前公司, 舊電話號碼, 舊地址, 上星期的餐聚, 前幾天在哪裡碰到等等....感激嗎? 會的. 但失落總比獲得多. 也許你會請朋友幫忙, 他們會回覆你SORRY, 但事實上並沒有進行. 人家也不想招惹麻煩不是嗎! 但得到否定的答案, 更教人膽怯.
所以還是聽聽歌好, 就當做是唱出自己的心聲, 讓那不可能的情感, 隨著音符起落, 無言的訴說, 直到記憶消逝.
