１９４６年６月生於埃及開羅一個希臘家庭的迪米斯．盧索斯（Demis Roussos／Ντέμης Ρούσσος，1946—2015）是一位希臘歌手，原名Artemios "Demis" Ventouris-Roussos，Αρτέμιος "Ντέμης"　Βεντούρης-Ρούσσος．

１９５６年蘇伊士運河危機後舉家回希臘定居．

１９６３年加入樂團，開始音樂活動．

１９７０年代前衛搖滾樂隊愛神之子（Aphrodites Child ）的成員──團員包括曾同范吉利斯（Vangelis）．

１９７１年，盧索斯離團成為獨唱歌手．

１９７３年，２７歲的迪米斯．盧索斯推出自己主製作的第二張英語大碟［Forever and Ever］（Philips唱片）．

在數首熱門曲的支撐下，國際暢銷，在１９７３到１９７９年間
