１９８５年６月２４　日本當時最紅的歌壇偶像女王──２３歲的松田聖子（Seiko Matsuda）嫁給年長１２歲的名演員神田正輝

舉行豪華盛大的結婚典禮　被媒體稱為‘聖輝之婚’

其隸屬的CBS Sony唱片公司也趁新聞熱潮為旗下這隻金雞母發行專輯單曲來撈錢

就在聖輝之婚同一天　CBS Sony發行松田聖子進軍國際的首支英文單曲〔DANCING SHOES／舞鞋〕

作為送給歌迷的禮物

外文歌曲一向較難在日本ORICON公信榜獲得佳績

不過聖子的高人氣讓〔DANCING SHOES〕登上單曲榜后座　成為她連續第二十首冠軍曲

創下日本歌手首次以全英文歌曲登上冠軍的紀錄

只是聖子因結婚暫退歌壇，沒有宣傳，這也是松田出道以來銷售最低的單曲（榜上銷售：１８．６萬張

名列１９８５年度日本最暢銷單曲＃６０

由ANDY GOLDMARK・PHIL GALDSTON創作，

美國音樂人Phil Ramone製作成一首流行抒情曲．

當時聖子的英文咬字雖沒有後來標準，但仍比一般日本人好很多

雖然沒主打，仍成為聖迷頗為喜愛的英文歌曲之一．

［CRAZY ME,  CRAZY FOR YOU］跟〔DANCING SHOES〕

接收在１９８５年８月１４日推出　聖子以‘Seiko，名義推出的首張英文大碟／事業第１２張專輯〔Sound of My Heart／我心之聲〕

專輯由拿過葛萊美大獎的美國名製作人Phil Ramone掌舵

並邀來許多歐美詞曲家如麥可波頓（Michael Bolton）　John Bettis（The Carpenters〔Yesterday Once More〕，瑪丹娜〔Crazy For You〕）提供歌曲

美國CBS總公司想以此將聖子打入國際　卻因婚事作罷

儘管松田結婚後即暫時終止演藝工作　並沒太多宣傳，靠著她堅實的歌迷基礎，

〔Sound of My Heart／我心之聲〕仍登上專輯榜亞軍　榜上銷售３３．３萬張，

名列１９８５年度日本最暢銷單曲＃２６
