LOGLINE

When an ancient octopus sorcerer conquers the Dolphin Castle and enslaves its inhabitants, a young bottlenose dolphin named Jibao becomes the last hope of his people. Guided by a mysterious celestial jellyfish, he must cross the worlds oceans to obtain three legendary treasures, unite the creatures of the sea, and confront the monster who destroyed his home.

THE STORY

Deep beneath the Western Pacific stands the magnificent Dolphin Castle, a dazzling underwater kingdom built from coral and seashells. But internal conflict among the dolphin communities leaves the kingdom vulnerable to invasion.

While young Jibao is exploring his secret coral-reef refuge, the ancient octopus sorcerer Scissor Tiger attacks the castle with an army of sharks. The dolphins are enslaved, and Jibao becomes the only member of his people to escape.

A celestial jellyfish tells him that three treasures are needed to defeat the sorcerer: the Sun Anemone, whose light can blind the sharks and break hypnotic magic; the Moon Urchin, whose venom can paralyze the monsters tentacles; and the Magical Swordfish Spike, the only weapon capable of penetrating his armored body.

Jibaos quest takes him across tropical waters, the Arctic Ocean, Greenland, Hawaii, and finally to the palace of the Sea God. Along the way, he receives help from squid, sea turtles, seals, blue whales, generals, and the brilliant Dr. Seahorse.

But the mysterious assistance raises a question: Who is secretly guiding Jibao?

When Jibao returns with an elite marine army, the final battle begins. He uses the three treasures to break the shark army and weaken Scissor Tiger. He succeeds in liberating his people, but the magical sword ultimately demands the heros life.

Jibao dies defeating the sorcerer.

Then the Mermaid Princess arrives.

Her tears become pearls, and the pearls restore Jibao. His dolphin body transforms into that of a human prince. He remembers that in a previous life he promised the Mermaid Princess that he would return to her and become her husband.

After saving his people, Jibao finally fulfills both promises: he restores freedom to the dolphins and reunites with the woman he has loved across lifetimes.
