19個小學生及兩位老師

21條活生生的生命

就這樣在幾秒鐘內倒下

消逝

 

留下了一個

無底的黑洞

在空蕩蕩的課桌與教室間

在他們家人悲慟的心中

在人類悲憫關切的心中

以及那些似人非人無動於衷的心中

不斷擴展

21 living lives

fall in a flash

and vanish

 

leaving behind

a black hole

to contain

the empty seats and classrooms

the mourning hearts

of their families and friends

the sympathetic hearts

of human beings

and the empty hearts

of the inhuman beings

 

小黄花

 

 

院子裡的這些小黃花

在微風中飄搖

不是為了引人注目

或討好

要你去點讃

更不是要你拿起剪刀

去拿它們裝飾

客廳裡的花瓶

 

 

明亮的陽光下

它們舞蹈

乃情不自禁

生命滔滔的喜悅

知道

短短的幾天

便是永恆

THE LITTLE YELLOW FLOWERS

 

waving in the breeze

the little yellow flowers in the yard

are not trying to draw your attention

or ask for your compliments

least of all they want you to pick up the scissors

cut them down

and decorate the vase in your living room

 

in the bright sun

they dance

for they cant contain

the surging joy of life

knowing well

a few days

is eternity

他猛跑出門

一躍上了馬鞍

然後穿過原野

向著又紅又圓的夕陽

篤篤奔馳過去

 

西部片裡的

最後一幕

夜夜

在他夢中

排演

 

好讓他清晨醒來

發現自己

仍是主角

THE LEADING ROLE

 

He runs to the door

vaults into the saddle

and gallops across the prairie

toward the burning sunset

 

the last scene

of a western movie

is rehearsed every night

over and over

in his dream

 

just to reassure himself

that he still plays the leading role

when he awakens 

in the morning
