南山塞天地，The world lies in Mt, Zhongnan, 

日月石上生。Sunrises and sunsets from there.

高峰夜留景，Where the gloaming remains longer,

深谷晝未明。 And the daybreak comes later.

山中人自正，  Inhabitants are upright like it,

路險心亦平。  Being calm in risky trails.

長風驅松柏， Pines and cypresses in wind

聲拂萬壑清。 The sound whistlle through valleys

即此悔讀書， Regret for studying so hard,

朝朝近浮名。 In pursuing fame and vanitry.
