PS: General Dai was a promising KMT military leader in the resistance-against-Japan war. Unfortunately, mostly due to the inconsistent leadership between Chiang and Stiwell, General Dai was severely wounded and died when he and his men were retreating from Burma in 1942. All Chinese people were mourning his death, including Chairman Mao, who was then in Yenan.
