In every heart there is a clear river

Cleansing the soul and nourishing life

Come the night when all is still

Relinquish this heavy mask, remove barriers to the heart

Return to this origin of beings

Listen to the crisp, delicate rhythm of ebb and flow

Let not troubles pollute its transparency

Put out fires of jealous

Wash away stains of vanity

In a low whisper the river speaks

Humanity is not so vile

Neither is life so bleak

Stay away from base competition

Let along worldly quarrels

Return to that which nourishes life

Rediscover that beautiful feeling

Sooth the fatigued heart

Purify those thoughts

And enrich our life
