1.Eris-goddess of Discord

   Iris-goddess of Rainbow

Eris-is the Greek goddess of chaos, strife, and discord. Her name is the equivalent of LatiDiscordia, which means "discord". Homer equated her with the war-goddess Enyo, whose Roman counterpart is Bellona. The dwarf planet Eris is named after the goddess, as is the religionDiscordianism.

Iris- is the personification of the rainbow and messenger of the gods. She is also known as one of the goddesses of the sea and the sky. Iris links the gods to humanity. She travels with the speed of wind from one end of the world to the other,and into the depths of the sea and the underworld.

2.Term explanation

(1)chieftain-a leader of a clan or tribe or a leader of a group.

      etymology-From Middle English cheftayne, a variant of Old French chevetaine, from Late      Latin capitaneus (English captain), from Latin caput ‎(head), from Proto-Indo-European.

3.Vocabulary and phrase

(1)nature-the physical world and all the living things in it.

    nurture-to help someone or something to develop.

    nature and nurture-relates to the relative importance of an individual's innate qualities as compared to an individual's personal experiences in causing individual differences, especially in behavioral traits. The alliterative expression "nature and nurture" in English has been in use since at least the Elizabethan period and goes back to medieval French. The combination of the two concepts as complementary is ancient.

(3)pride-is an inwardly directed emotion that carries two common meanings. With a negative connotation pride refers to an inflated sense of one's personal status or accomplishments, often used synonymously with hubris. With a positive connotation, pride refers to a satisfied sense of attachment toward one's own or another's choices and actions, or toward a whole group of people, and is a product of praise, independent self-reflection, and a fulfilled feeling of belonging.

    hubris-means, in a modern context, extreme pride or self-confidence; in its ancient Greek context, it typically describes violent and excessive behavior rather than an attitude. When it offends the gods of ancient Greece, it is usually punished. And is usually perceived as a characteristic of an individual rather than a group, although the group the offender belongs to may suffer consequences from the wrongful act.
