１９８３年２月，菲爾推出專輯第三單曲／美國第二單曲［I Dont Care Anymore／我不再在意］

由柯林斯創作、並與Hugh Padgham共同製作成一首實驗搖滾／藝術搖滾。

這首歌與柯林斯早期的熱門單曲［In the Air Tonight］相似，音色“陰暗”，

兩首歌都包含強勁的架子鼓、簡潔的合成器和吉他riff，以及指向柯林斯失敗的第一次婚姻的憤怒歌詞。

鼓點也體現定義柯林斯整個80年代音樂風格的門控殘響錄音技術。

它極具感染力，並且保留柯林斯在［In the Air Tonight］中展現同樣充滿魔力的鼓點。

 

《Cashbox》指出，這首歌「稀疏的合成器和吉他編曲」使得鼓聲提供大部分的情感表達。

《Billboard》評論道：“柯林斯將 R&B 風格與他的 Genesis 風格相結合，創造出一種憂鬱、沉思的反叛吶喊。”
