１９９１年１１月，３３歲的英裔美國華麗金屬歌手／吉他手麗塔福特（Lita Ford）推出第五張大碟［Dangerous Curves／危險曲線］（RCA Records發行）.

由Tom Werman, Eddie DeLena製作，評價褒貶不一．

 

由於其主要的華麗金屬風格，以及１９９１年底大眾音樂品味轉向另類搖滾的，

大碟銷售不佳，只登上美國告示牌專輯榜＃１３２，英國＃５１．

 

首支主打是７月推出的［Shot of Poison／毒藥射擊］

由麗塔與Myron Grombacher，Jim Vallance合寫，

Tom Werman, Eddie DeLena製作成一首華麗金屬／硬式搖滾，

編曲華麗光澤，旋律琅琅上口，福特的詮釋激情，熱力十足．

福特以此曲在１９９３年獲得葛萊美最佳搖滾女歌手提名。

 

麗塔在１９９５年出版另一張失敗的大碟後，淡出歌壇，專心撫養兩子，
