與弟弟莫里斯（Maurice Gibb ）為異卵雙胞胎

以跟大哥貝瑞（Barry Gibb）組成的比吉斯（Bee Gees）樂團走紅全球

不過除團體外,  羅賓也發展個人音樂事業

自１９７０年起開始推出個人專輯，在歐陸──特別是德國──有不錯成績

 

１９８４年６月，３４歲半的羅賓推出第三張個人大碟［Secret Agent／秘密情報員］

（Polydor Records (UK)＊Mirage/Atco/Atlantic Records (US)出版）

專輯歌曲主要由他跟弟弟莫里斯譜寫　

羅賓，莫里斯，Mark Liggett，Chris Barbosa製作

走歐化的合成流行／舞曲流行風格，樂評不錯
