但在美國反應不佳　只拿到＃６０

前兩首單曲〔Don’t Know Much〕［Favorite Waste of Time］成績亦不佳　只拿到美國單曲榜＃７７與＃７８

 

１９８４年２月　貝蒂推出第三也是最後一支主打［Beast of Burden／馴獸］

這是英國天團滾石（The Rolling Stones）於１９７８年推出　登上美國榜＃８的搖滾經典

作者是米克傑格（Mick Jagger ）& Keith Richards

蜜勒版由Chuck Plotkin, Brock Walsh, Danny Goldberg製作

是首融合新浪潮的流行搖滾, 在中板的有力節奏間, 貝蒂恣意展示其寬廣歌喉

MV並邀來米克傑格客串演出

只是反應亦普通, 只登上美國Billboard單曲榜＃７１

但國際卻有不錯銷售：

瑞典／挪威亞軍　紐西蘭＃４　荷蘭＃１０　澳洲＃１２　德國／比利時＃１５

由於在歐洲表現頗佳　成為她出道以來在歐陸最暢銷專輯

包括瑞典冠軍　挪威＃３等
