１９４２年　美國娛樂天王平．克勞斯貝（Bing Crosby，１９０３－１９７７）發行〔White Christmas／白色聖誕〕（Irving Berlin譜寫）　成為史上最暢銷聖誕單曲　至今賣出５０００萬張以上

１９４４年底　２９歲的歌壇巨星──‘瘦皮猴’法蘭克辛納屈（Frank Sinatra）也推出自己的〔White Christmas〕版本

此版由Alex Stordahl編曲　與其合唱管弦樂隊伴奏

法蘭克較直硬的低音詮釋賦予跟平不同的味道

辛納屈版在１９４４年底登上Billboard流行榜（Pop Singles）＃７

１９４５年底重返＃５　１９４６年底拿到＃６

算是克勞斯貝原版外最受歡迎的版本

也是辛納屈的耶誕歌曲代表作之一

１９５７年平與法蘭克在ABC電台的耶誕特別節目中　兩人還合唱此曲

後來辛納屈推出的聖誕選輯中　幾乎都會收錄此曲
