１９８０年２月　即將屆滿２２歲的英國／澳洲歌手安迪吉布（Andy Gibb）發行第三張—－也是他事業最後大碟［After Dark］

仍由Barry Gibb-Albhy Galuten-Karl Richardson三人組製作

當時藥癮已影響安迪的創作能力

大碟十首歌基本上由大哥Barry Gibb創作　安迪只參與其中三首譜寫

［After Dark］這回脫離迪斯可　轉向R&B, Funk, Soft Rock

登上美國榜＃２１　拿到金唱片

家鄉之一的澳洲＃６５ 原生故鄉英國則沒入榜

雖然評價中等　但專輯銷售不如預期, 加上安迪日漸嚴重的藥癮

RSO唱片公司只能忍痛開除他──［After Dark］也成為吉布事業最後一張錄音室專輯

大碟首支主打為１９８０年１月出版的［Desire／慾望］

歌曲由比吉斯（Bee Gees）創作, 原為其１９７９年專輯［Spirits Having Flown］灌錄　但最後沒收在大碟中

安迪版編曲為１９７８年比吉斯灌錄, 只是重新配唱主唱聲音

這是一首融合Funk, Soul的流行歌曲

節拍中板, 安迪幾乎是在模仿大哥Barry的唱法

配上比吉斯的背景合聲, 會讓人誤以為是比吉斯的歌曲

這是吉布四兄弟合體的兩首歌曲之一

［Desire］登上美國單曲榜＃４　成為其事業第六首──也是最後一首US Top１０熱門曲

另外拿下副榜──Easy Listening榜＃９　靈魂榜＃４８

澳洲＃９０

國際方面：西班牙＃７　比利時＃８（年終＃１７）　加拿大＃１０　荷蘭＃２１　德國＃３６　紐西蘭＃３８
