第凡內早餐, 大大有名的是由Audrey Hepburn演的電影吧. 看完小說後, 覺得電影中的女主角更像是Marilyn Monroe.

這是Holly的故事. 主要發生在1943-1944時的紐約市. 說故事的人是剛進入寫作行業, 想成為作家的年輕男子, 女主角叫他Fred. 兩人租在同一幢公寓上下層. 女主角的信箱上寫的是Miss Moliday Golightly, Traveling. Holly 多大年紀? 19歲. 打入上流社會為目的以交際女為生活型態.

Holly 幼時父母雙亡. 和哥哥Fred相依為命, 辛苦維生.大概沒有所謂的正常家庭和學校教育, 行為上不太受嚴格的法律道德約束. 從普通人來看, Holly稱得上Wild thing. 這樣的Holly要以何為依歸(where she can belong)?

Holly的故事以Tiffany's為書名是怎麼回事?
