A pair of shoes to be sent to you
一封無字的信
A letter of no text body
積了四十多年的話
Silently with much in mind yet stammered for 40 more years
想說無從說
Never find a start to converse with you
只好一句句
Sentence by sentence simply
密密縫在鞋底
Stitched in soles densely
這些話我偷偷藏了很久
Words hidden deeply in my mind for a long time
有幾句藏在井邊
Some hidden nearby the well
有幾句藏在廚房
Some hidden in the kitchen
有幾句藏在枕頭下
Some hidden under the pillow
有幾句藏在午夜明滅不定的燈火裡
Some concealed within the candle light of unstable dimming and glare at midnight
有的風乾了
Some were weathered to dry
有的生霉了
Some were mildewed
有的掉了牙齒
Some were tooth-off
有的長出了青苔
Some were mossed
現在一一收集起來
Now all are gathered one by one
密密縫在鞋底
Densely stitched in soles
鞋子也許嫌小一些
Perhaps shoes were somewhat smaller
我是以心裁量，以童年
Measured with my naïve mind and childhood
以五更的夢裁量
Measured with my dream at dusk
合不合腳是另一回事
Fitting or not never matters
請千萬別棄之
But abandon them not

The humbly broken shoes
