錯了好幾年！最新DNA分析 龐貝城一家四口沒血緣關係

龐貝古城（Pompeii）是古羅馬時代位於義大利那不勒斯灣南部的城市，公元79年8月24日，維蘇威火山突然爆發，龐貝城約1萬多名的居民瞬間被岩漿及火山灰掩埋，直到18世紀才被發現，現代仍有許多科學家投入研究，根據外媒最新報導，最新的DNA檢測推翻大家對龐貝城的推測。
外媒報導，龐貝古城遺址出土遺骸的最新DNA分析結果，推翻了考古學家過去根據飾品和位置做出的性別與親屬關係假設，其中一組讓人印象深刻的遺骸，有四個人在同個房屋裡被發現，過去常被解釋為「一家四口」一起面對生命的最後一刻。
結果DNA檢測顯示，排除其中一人無法分析的DNA，其他三人根本沒有血緣關係。 裡面包括有戴著金手鐲的成年人、抱著孩子的遺骸，過去推測是母親跟孩子，結果證明是一名男性跟沒有血緣關係的孩子；另一組依偎在一起的遺骸，過去則被解釋為一對姐妹、母女，不過DNA顯示其中一名為男性，結果完全推翻過去外界對於龐貝城的想像。
龐貝古城考古公園的園長表示，多年來，該公園一直將人類和動物的古DNA分析納入研究方案中，以補充其他類型的數據，讓外界對遺址考古有新的解釋，並開發新的研究方法來促進對過去的理解，未來可能還有更多新發現。
