電影音樂中的經典“As Time Goes By” 是


電影《北非諜影（卡薩布蘭卡）》的主題曲。


由 Herman Hupfeld 在 1931 作曲，


原本是百老匯音樂劇


《Everybody’s Welcome》裡頭的歌曲。


後來因爲用在北非諜影（Casablanca）裡


而大紅特紅。





2007年美國編劇協會曾經公佈


影史「最偉大的101部電影劇本」名單，


即由《北非諜影》奪冠，


其受影迷歡迎的程度，可見一斑。





這部電影的男女主角是


亨弗萊•鮑嘉和英格麗•褒曼。


描寫二次世界大戰中


玩世不恭的美國人里克


在納粹軍隊進入巴黎的那一天，


巧遇以爲丈夫遇難而心碎的伊麗莎，


而展開的一段愛情故事。





在電影中“As Time Goes By” 由


Dooley Wilson 飾演的 Sam 主唱，


但是把原來的歌中的首段省略掉，


而由You must remember this


這句歌詞開始，


說也奇怪，


從此以後大家也都跟著這麼唱。





好玩的是在1942年電影上映以後，


Dooley Wilson  唱的版本因爲音樂公會的罷工


而無法及時上市，影片公司不得以把1931年由


Rudy Vallee 主唱的版本重新推出，


讓Rudy Vallee 因而贏得當年的暢銷寶座。
