是民謠作曲家 Ewan MacColl
在1957年 為他的太太 Peggy Seeger 寫的曲子。
在1969年 Roberta Flack 把此曲收在
她的唱片專輯《First Take》裏。
1971年被克林伊斯威特用在他首部
自導自演的電影《迷霧追魂》(Play Misty for Me)
因此而大紅特紅，在1972年登上排行榜寶座，
並被選為年度歌曲，也贏了艾美獎。
