年輕人玩手機打電玩的時間太多，閱讀時間太少，作文能力衰退，贅語和口頭禪都太多。 其實號稱口齒伶俐的電台播音員（股票台）和股市分析師，也好不到哪裡。他們最常用的句型，就是「做一個ＸＸ的動作」，譬如說明明是簡單的「買進」，他們喜歡把它拉長成「做一個買進的動作」、「做一個回跌的動作」、「做一個急拉的動作」，妙的是還有「做一個向下跳水的動作」（跳水還能向上嗎？）、「做一個向上走漲的動作」（走漲還能向下嗎？） 他們喜歡在名詞前加「所謂」，像「所謂聯發科」、「所謂蘋果電腦」。他們大概不清楚，名詞前加了「所謂」，就有懷疑和否定的意思在內。 走筆至此，我要給本文「做一個結束的動作」，而「所謂的電台播音員」，也不過如此，各位可以「做一個打開電視的動作」，「然後」就知我所言不虛了。 【2013/09/07 聯合報】

Lets say thanks to Mr. Lu for his concerns about those improper usage of the pep phrases in spoken Chinese(hopefully they wont become the terms in written Chinese someday.)  People may say we neednt fuss over these trivial things because language always evolve itself into new species.  But those lousy, redundant usages, or verbiages,  are totally against the basic syntax of Chinese no matter how our language will evolve.  They are absolutely intolerable.

222) Many a TV subtitle in Taiwan is rife with wrong words or phrases, or even much worse: ridiculous malapropism.  Take a look at the subtitles of either Chinese or English translation in CCTV international channel.  Now I know why Ma adminstration wont let CCTV into Taiwan.
