月未到誠齋，先到萬花川谷。The moonbeam had not yet arrived at my study, but it already shone in the Flower Valley.
不是誠齋無月，隔一林修竹。Not because the moon was out; the tall bamboo grove separates it from my study
如今才是十三夜，月色已如玉。Now it is only the thirteenth; the moonlight is bright as a jade.
未是秋光奇絕，看十五十六。Wait until the fourteenth or fifteenth night to see the wonder of autumnal light.
