Except for game one, all four other games ended by four points or less. And most of the time, it had been the Knicks who came back from behind and erased the differences, as many as 29 points in the third quarter of game four, and clutched the wins. It was amazing and unbelievable.

The rivals had met in the NBA final before. It was 1999 when I was working in New York. Then I was rooting for the San Antonio Spurs because of their sought-after rookie Tim Duncan and one of my  favorite stars, the "Admiral" David Robinson.
