Yesterday I watched a NBA playoff between New York Knicks and Philadephia Cavaliers: the game one the best of seven for the champion of the eastern conference. I like Knicks better, so I was rooting for them.
In less than seven minutes left in the fourth quarter, Knicks lagged behind by 20 points plus. I thought the game was over, so I turned off the TV with a little disappointment. Several hours later when I remembered to check the final scores, the result shocked me: Knicks won the match by 11 points in overtime!
Like a placard " We Believe" which is often seen in the NBA court, the true fans should always believe in the trailing teams or the althetes they favor. Remember this: not until the whistle blown, the timer lighted, or the winning point gained, the game is still on. Well, you never know.
