P.S. After the sweeping victory over DPP in the so-called "across-the-board recall", the incumbent chairman of KMT, Mr. Zhu, strongly recommended the mayor of Taichung, Ms. Lu Xiuyan, as his successor in the coming reelection. I think it is the right time for Ms. Lu to take over the responsibility and win the elections of 2026 and 2028. (Is the right season coming?)

The father of Ms. Lu was a PLA volunteer soldier in the Korean War. He was captured by (or surrendered to) the allied army and later converted to be an "anti-communist defector", willingly or unwillingly.
