In his early days, he was a political activist as a DPP representative in the Legislation Yuan, often applying the vehement method to object to the authoritarian rule of the KMT. Later, he withdrew from the DPP because he found it a cowardly independentist party under the fig leaf of democracy. Since then, he has not been that aggressive in politics any longer; instead, he has contributed himself most to promoting Chinese culture and the reunification of China.

He died not long ago, and now his ashes are buried in Luoyang, Henan. Like the commentator, I am happy to see that his soul could rest there, too.
