I am not a person of superstitious beliefs. You know, in Taiwan there are three kinds of people who are liable to superstition: politicians, businessmen, and show biz guys because their future and fates are almost always uncertain, so they may believe the systen of divination, often having recousrse to the words of fortune tellers. I am just an ordinary person, and my economic mainstay depends on salary or remuneration which are highly predictable, so I do not have any needs to put my faith in those "masters".
I have been troubled with my cervical spine for almost three months. Doctors all strongly advised me of undergoing a surgery to eliminate the minor pain on my left hand, though it was of no immediate danger, and to prevent from an adverse situation which would possibly happen in the future. I was a little reluctant to receive an operation for several reasons, so I could not make up my mind. My brother-in-law, a retired businessman who believes in the words from "masters", fervently recommanded me to visit a Yijing master and see what he would point out a way for me to follow, and my wife also agreed with her brother. So I took the advice, and for the very second time of my life to a fortune teller I went the other day.
The "master" first showed me he is the author of three books about Yijing: "Understandable Yijing for Everyone". Well, I really dont know about Zhou Yi, one of Five Classics. Its Eight Diagrams are greek to me. After knowing what kind of problem that had confronted me, he used the measure of cleromancy to interpret my case. All I finally knew was his conclusion, but little to how the deductive conclusion was made. To do or not to do? I leave the answer to you guys.

有關醫藥病理常識,我屬於一無所知,尤其是沒有遇到過的病症。
是脊椎的問題嗎?可不可以用中文說明一下?
多謝關心. Yeah, 頸部椎間盤突出壓迫到神經,引起麻痛. Please refer to my previous writing "老友, 當心別跌著了." at: http://classic-blog.udn.com/kkuo0810/113172785, thanks. Retiredbum 於 2018/10/04 15:51回覆
