Why I choose this text book？

        CNN is a challenge for me , because when I was freshman I heard upperclasswoman said that CNN is a difficult course . But I have learned about three months now, there is no denying that CNN’s content is more difficult than before. But I know what I can do is to overcome and take a good use of it, so far I advance reading skill and listening skill by following a to-do list everyday and listening to CD. So I think CNN is a good choice for everyone , not only for people who have to read it just for lesson .

Cons:

        Parts of articles are more informal which lack grammar rules

      CNN lacks exercises which readers can do after reading articles.

My opinion:

        I think that this is a way to strengthen my listening skill by interactive CD, because I do not have many chances to practice. Besides CNN provide me with a good environment to learn English, it has not only professional articles but also recent news to broaden my horizon and I can read and listen to articles at the same time to advance my reading skill and listening skill .
