數訪安安小館

如果對餃子有成見,覺得餃子就是要一顆四元的,就不用看這篇文章了。因為,這家坐落在南門市場附近小巷子的餃子館,可真是無比尋常的貴。後來想想,比起很多家後來探訪的水餃館,安安似乎還不算高級消費。

初訪,2003

愛吃的朋友推薦我去。店很小,稀稀落落的沒有什麼客人,朋友一邊嚷著肚子餓,拿著煎小黃魚,紅燒豬腳,辣豆芽,蓮藕片。小黃魚乾煎後紅燒,豬腳不死鹹,普通,辣豆芽也還普通,蓮藕片我卻認為不甚好。餃子以盤為單位,一盤十個。龍鱈水餃 (100) 鮮蝦水餃 (110) 素菜水餃 (40) 牛肉水餃 (60) 。

安安的餃子如果要我形容,清淡素雅入口即化,當為最好的辭彙。餃子餡使用昂貴卻芳香的韭黃。龍鱈的魚肉清淡鮮美,鮮蝦也清爽可口,純鮮蝦跟韭黃的搭配很適合。帶鮮味的魚肉餃子也不錯,這兩款餃子餡我相當喜歡。素菜水餃裡面有雪裡紅跟香菇,味道還可以,而牛肉也同樣搭韭黃,通常外面賣的牛肉水餃都搭蔥薑,煮好以後偏硬,而安安小館的牛肉斬得極細,可以吃到入口即化的牛肉水餃不簡單。

安安的皮都薄,捏合的地方稍薄因此均勻。不過比較偏軟,吃起來並不像一般想像的有嚼勁。我本來不喜歡這樣,不過回頭想,他的內餡是非常柔細入口即化的,若搭配上稍硬而 Q的皮,似乎不太協調。似乎柔軟的外皮是比較好的搭配。安安的餃子個頭小,價錢也高,可是這確實的反應了製作的功夫成本。龍鱈魚肉很柔軟,跟豬肉不一樣,一舀起來是泥狀,根本塑不出形,所以若非現桿的新鮮餃子皮,沒辦法包製。

時間飛逝,美食代有才人,安安小館開店的時段實在難配合,竟然一直到了五年以後,才有機會再去。

再訪,2008,五月

週一剛剛下過雨的午後,不用擁擠排隊,小菜卻剩下不多,題外話,安安小館不愧是小館,小菜真的很小。

牛肉水餃比豬肉好吃,但有個小插曲就是,上桌只有 9 顆,小姐說煮破了一顆….不過妳也再煮一顆補來吧,裝作沒事情就算了嗎?? 本來依照我的個性是一定會問的,但因為去吃的目的是討論事情,懶得計較了。

數年過後,我覺得我真的是變挑了,真糟糕。這幾年在台灣太常吃水餃,養壞了口味。

三訪,2008,六月

因為上次沒吃到龍鱈跟鮮蝦水餃,跟友人約好要去補完計畫,所以還事先打了電話確認,才不會白跑一趟。

我們三人吃了魚蝦餃各一,意猶未盡又各來一盤,還分了碗青菜豆腐湯。因為安安的餃子很清爽,所以吃起來沒啥負擔。

安啦! 光吃安安小館,要吃到胖很難~

除非,之前又去嗑附近的魯肉飯。

俺可是混南海路的
安安的問題是很難吃飽。不過這好像也不是問題,因為只要安安-->麵王-->金鋒,就一定可以吃飽啦。

還是最喜歡魚肉水餃
蝦不錯,鮮味很濃,但我覺得還是龍鱈水餃最好,整體味道均衡清爽,而且比劉家小館便宜多了

people in taiwan are spoiled, NT100 for 10 dumplings is very cheap, in the US it is usually $5 to $7 depending on what what is inside the dumplings.  But I have never had lobster or crab meat inside a dumpling (other than the Italian dumplings).  Maybe I should try it~
Will, but people are poor in Taiwan, think about the GDP in taiwan is about 17000 USD, but in US it's 45600USD, 2.5 times of TW.
So it should be reasonable for food, 2.5 times, see, 10 dumpling for 100ntd, should be 250 ntd in US which is 8USD.
Don't complain lah, you earn much more than most taiwanese.

If there is lobster or crab meat inside dumpling, don't know how much it will cost!

Hi Clara,

It's always interesting to read your articles.

It's unbelievable you needed to ask for 10 dumplings in a plate. It's not very honest of the restaurant. I would have returned the whole plate and asked for another plate. Maybe I am too picky.

Two years ago, I traveled to Taiwan for a holiday. It was great in general but I wasn't happy with the smoking policy in some restaurants. I had this situation not once but twice. The restaurants both had signs saying "No Smoking". There were customers ignoring the sign. We complained to restaurants and they told us to sit somewhere else instead of asking the smokers to stop. One of the restaurants even had a certificate of none smoking restaurant awarded by city council!

I think you are not pickier than you used to. You are like me, a fair person. All we wanted is to get what we were promised. Some people think we are too picky. Ironic?!

Yes, so i was kinda surprised they didn't give me the rest one. It is not an expensive CHINESE restaurant, no tip, no service charge, but i still remember it, haha.

The smoking situation will be improved soon. The government has passed the smoking-prohibition  law recently. It will like in CA, no smoking in public area.
