自８０年代中期後　英國紅髮美女席娜伊斯頓（Sheena Easton，１９５９－）不但形象轉為性感

樂風也轉向更為Urban的R&B與Funk
並開始與歌壇鬼才王子（Prince）事業上一連串的合作

雖然媒體認為兩人也有感情上的瓜葛

但席娜倒是始終否認

１９８８年　伊斯頓結束與EMI唱片的合作　改與MCA公司簽約

秋天時　席娜推出〔The Lover In Me〕大碟
集結多位名製作　包括L.A Reid & Babyface，王子，Jellybean
首支同名單曲由當紅的 L.A Reid & Babyface掌舵

被製作成一首強而有勁的New Jack Swing／合成放克舞曲

席娜的唱腔與早期已有很大差別　變得十足R&B化了

〔The Lover In Me〕在美國流行榜得到亞軍　舞曲銷售冠軍　舞曲播放亞軍　黑人榜＃５　 成人抒情榜＃４３
賣過５０萬張　成為一張金唱片

國際市場方面　拿到英國＃１５　紐西蘭＃１２　瑞士＃２５　德國＃２６　加拿大＃２６

MV拍得蠻精彩的
伊斯頓飾演一個俱樂部的歌手 　與舞群在台上大秀歌舞
由於成名前曾為某位攝影師當過模特兒 　和他有過一段關係(我猜的)
當這個攝影師在俱樂部驀然看到伊斯頓時
驚訝的想上前與她相見 卻被保鑣架開

席娜在音樂錄影帶中十分美豔迷人
除了這段劇情外 音樂錄影帶中有許多外型健美 身穿緊身衣束的年輕男女
(有點像凱倫懷特的冠軍曲〔Romantic)MV)
老實說 MV雖然沒有什麼限制級的畫面
卻讓人有種肉慾橫流的聯想
