１９９１年復出，３３歲的葛洛莉雅推出第二張個人大碟［Into The Light／迎向曙光］（Epic唱片發行），

由Emilio Estefan, Jr. Jorge Casas Clay Ostwald 製作，樂評好壞兩極．

首支主打是［Coming Out of the Dark／走出黑暗］

由葛洛莉雅，Emilio Estefan, Jr. 和Jon Secada合寫，

Estefan Jr., Jorge Casas and Clay Ostwald製作成一首拉丁流行／福音／靈魂抒情曲，

和聲採用唱詩合唱團，成員包括伊斯特芬的同事、古巴歌手Jon Secada和R&B歌手Betty Wright

在緩慢搖曳的節拍間，葛洛莉雅的主唱與合唱團的豐厚和聲搭配和諧，宛如兩部合唱，受到好評．

 

這也是伊斯特芬康復後公開演唱的第一首歌曲，靈感來自於那場幾乎致命的事故，也是獻給她的丈夫的。

歌曲標題的靈感來自於她的丈夫在直升機上運送她進行手術以修復她骨折的背部時寫在一張紙上的一句話。

葛洛莉雅向《告示牌》解釋：「我先生乘坐一架直升機從一家醫院飛往另一家醫院。

天真的又黑又灰，他受了創傷。他看到這束光打在他臉上，他就想到了［Coming Out of the Dark］的想法。 」

 

 

［Coming Out of the Dark］登上美國Billobard單曲榜后座，為葛洛莉雅第二手個人冠軍（事業累計第三手首）
