獲得高度評價（滾石雜誌在１９８１年給與４顆半星　２００４年改為五顆星）

被譽為是８０年代最傑出的大碟之一（名列滾石雜誌５００張最偉大專輯）　

 

專輯共推出三首單曲　雖然沒打入流行榜

但在黑人榜　舞曲榜拿到佳績　也讓大碟在美國拿到金唱片

其中第三主打［Do It All Night］只在英國發行, 其B面歌曲是專輯中的［Head／頭］

王子將其製作成一首後迪斯可／靈魂／Funk風格歌曲

旋律討好, 節奏俏皮

在美國只以跟［Dirty Mind］［Uptown］的１２吋唱片組曲在Billboard副榜－舞曲榜登上＃５
