２００１年６月　３５歲的英國歌姬麗莎史坦菲爾德（Lisa Stansfield）發行睽違四年的第五張大碟［Face Up］（Arista出版）

由她,丈夫Ian Devaney ,Richard Darbyshire 三人擔任大部份歌曲創作

Ian Devaney負責製作

專輯以靈魂, 放克曲風為主　頗獲良好評價

首支主打［Lets Just Call It Love／讓我們就叫它愛］只拿到英國榜＃４８──這是她首張大碟在英國沒推出Top１０熱門曲

其它地區亦反應冷淡

 

第二主打［8-3-1］由麗莎Ian Devaney ＆Richard Darbyshire ＆Charlotte Kelly合寫

被製作一首靈魂放克／迪斯可／舞曲  

旋律悅耳, 節拍討好, 頗獲好評

只是彼時史坦菲爾德聲勢下滑, ［8-3-1］並沒入榜

連帶專輯推出後　銷售也不佳：英國＃３８　瑞士＃１９　德國＃２９

由於［Face Up］的表現不理想　Arista唱片公司決定放棄美國的發行計畫

這也是麗莎與Arista唱片合約最後一張錄音室專輯

此後她的事業就明顯走下坡了
