I don't know this is a good investment or not? But it's very interesting topic. My American coworker even told me to buy it and resell it after 10 yrs. But I don't want to take risk to buy an empty house, can't rent it out, have to pay proerty tax and maintenance fees. Plus it's out of State, I didn't live there at all.

小品「老師,我要請假」good advice, I am too busy for two kids and no hands to handle another house. Yayawww 於 2013/05/04 18:57回覆 - 1樓. 客旅貞吟2013/04/07 08:33包袱
I think to buy a house (property) out of the range of my own living area is a burden. Nor do I think it is a good investment. Even it only costs $100, the property tax and the maintenance fee are higher than that.
I have a friend's friend, bought a property in Florida ten years ago. She lives in Taiwan. She has never come here to see her property, but pays the property tax every year. I know the location of her property is not in a very developed area. It is a crazy investment, in my opinion.
If the rent can cover property tax, real estate managemetn fees and mantainence, then it will be a good investment.
Now I probablly jsut raise my two kids to college, so I can have time to think about this.
