設計
Amazon Kindle 電子書閱讀器的下方，有 35 顆輸入按鈕，下方則有兩排喇叭孔以及 Mini USB 插座，白色的外觀下，搭配著一些簡單的按鈕，讓整個外觀設計看起來相當典雅大方。
而300公克的輕薄的外型以及觸感，讓兩手握住此裝置時，舒服度真的就像在看書或報紙，輕巧的體積以及不刺眼的面板光線，會讓您忘了是在看電子產品.......
螢幕的部份採用與 Sony 閱讀器同樣的電子墨水（E-ink）科技，那種感覺 有點像是黑色墨水印在灰白色的紙張，然後坎在一個白色的框框內，由於無背光、不刺眼，且無須關閉的特性，讓這樣的電子書裝置非常的省電（因為電子墨水只會在翻頁時才會需要用到電量）。
右側是一簡單的操作槽，可用來執行翻頁、移動游標、放大字體等各項功能，簡單的幾個英文標 示，刻意設計與拇指大小相若的按鈕，也讓操作的便利度 提升許多。只是這樣的按鈕通通設計在右邊，不知道左撇子的人需要多久時間才能適應呢？
不過外型的設計上，小的也有一點點微詞！那就是Amazon Kindle 電子書閱讀器的背面，採用的金屬絲的面板，所以摸起來有點冰冰涼涼的，說真的....這種感覺真的很"電子產品"，既然是要取代"書"，那為什麼背部不設計成皮革或是絨布呢？

The are 35 input buttons on the bottom of Amazon Kindle e-book readers. Below the said 35 buttons, there are two rows of speaker and Mini USB sockets combined with some simple buttons to make whole design highly elegant and graceful.
The streamline appearance weighing only 300 grams and its tactility make you feel comfortable just like holding books or newspaper with both hands. Light-weighted volume and non-glare panel light really make users forget they are using electronic products.
The screen component is designed with E-ink technology identical to Sony Readers with true feeling like gray ink printed on white paper surrounded by a white frame. Because of no backlight, no glare, and no need to turn off the device, this e-book device is very energy-efficient (It is because electronic ink needs power only used for page turning.)
On the right side are simple operation slots available for some functions like page turning, cursor moving and font size adjustment. With few simple English words and thoughtfully designed thumb-size buttons, this device is really allowed with much operation convenience. But we don’t know how much time would be spent by lefty users to get adapted to right-side button design.
However, about appearance design, there seem to be little left for criticism! It means the back of Amazon Kindle e-book readers is designed with metal-wired panels and make this device a little ice-cold alienatedly. Such a feeling is something very like "electronic products". Since it is a product meant to replace " books ", and then, why not designed with leather or flannel back?
