單看序號難判斷 警曝3方式辨真假鈔 至於如何辨認鈔票真偽、看序號就能辨認嗎？警方和央行表示，玩具鈔可能是翻印真鈔、假鈔也會自行亂編序號，因此不能單看序號就判斷，正確方式有3步驟，「看一看」、「摸一摸」、「轉一轉」。 
首先「看一看」，在紙鈔正面，玩具鈔或魔術鈔在中央銀行兩側紅色戳印會印上「玩具鈔票」、下方會印上明顯的玩具鈔票或魔術銀行、魔術印製等字；真鈔則會印上「中央銀行印」、「中央銀行總裁」，下方會印「中央印製廠」。 
另外千元可看正面左側空白處有無菊花圖案、1000數字，正面右下角也有條狀連續花紋圖案，轉動也會浮現1000數字。 
第二步「摸一摸」，千元紙鈔多處有「凹版印刷」，包含正面左上角、左下角的1000數字、上側中華民國和中央銀行，以及右下角「壹仟圓」，觸摸可感受墨紋凸出紙面。 第三步「轉一轉」，正版紙鈔使用特殊油墨，像是千元紙鈔正面、背面輕輕轉動，會出現金色、綠色變化，側邊條狀和防偽線也會有七彩光影變化效果。
