1955 - 1956 年間 我高中二年級的化學老師 師大畢業不久來竹南中學任教。他教我們羅莾湖邊這首歌，用中文歌詞。我來美國後，發現了此歌的英文歌詞，兹將中英文歌詞並列如下，供校友們欣賞。此文為淡江大學校友群組寫貼。
