Attached below is a simple but interesting explanation why a substantially same thing should be perfectly justifiable when to denominate it under different circumstances.
It also testifies one of Confucius teachings: "名不正則言不順"; he is really a master.
Different names of money!!!
In temple or church, its called donation.
In school, its fee.
In marriage, its called dowry.
In divorce, called alimony.
When you owe someone, its debt.
When you pay the government, its tax.
In court, its fines.
Civil servant retirees, its pension.
Employer to workers, its salary.
Master to subordinates, its wages.
To children, its allowance.
When you borrow from bank, its loan.
When you offer after a good service. its tips.
To kidnappers, its ransom.
Illegally received in the name of service, its bribe.
The question is, "when a husband gives to his wife, what do we call it???"
ANSWER:
Money given to your wife is called DUTY, and every man has to do his
duty because wives are not DUTY FREE.

老公付老婆錢？
我實在無法想像這種情況。
我很慶幸，我們家的財物都是共有。老公的收入就是老婆的收入。
